ALAYA carries her history in her shape. Her first owners asked Lürssen for a yacht in the spirit of wartime torpedo boats, and the long, low profile that resulted still gives her a purposeful look, whether at anchor or under way. Inside, a refit has brought a modern interior that sits easily within those classic lines. Daylight falls across the living spaces and art hangs about the yacht, so the mood is considered rather than ornate. She runs quietly, which guests notice most at night and over a book on deck.
Her cabins centre on a master suite, with doubles and singles around it. That mix makes her easy for a party travelling with children: younger guests can have rooms of their own, and the yacht is set up with them in mind. Her crew keep the day moving without fuss, from the first coffee to the tender run ashore. For anyone who wants a slower start, a yoga instructor can lead sessions on request, with a particular interest in meditation and quiet reflection before the day begins in earnest.
On the water she is unusually well equipped. The Sea-Doo Spark Trixx jetski and the Novurania tender handle the faster outings, while the Fliteboard Aquaglide Chinook, Audi e-tron eFoil, Liftfoil electronic surfboard and Radinn electric Jetboard suit those who like to glide above the surface. The Seabob Water Scooter takes swimmers beneath it. Towed sports are well covered too, with Jobe Allegre Combo water skis, a Jobe Hemi Trainer Waterski for first attempts, a Jobe Streak kneeboard and a Jobe Vanity wakeboard, along with tubes, an inflatable couch and an inflatable banana for lighter moments.
When the pace eases, the NautiBuoy swim platform, with its ladder and sunbeds, becomes a floating terrace beside her, and the Oasis Jobe floating mat and the stand up paddle stay close at hand. Snorkelling gear and fishing equipment are kept aboard for quieter hours. Children tend to find the FUNAIR climbing wall first; adults may prefer the deck Jacuzzi and a cool glass as the light goes. After dark, the open-air cinema brings a film to the deck. She cruises in Greece, where her crew shape each day around the rhythm the party chooses.
