AFRICA I: a master suite with its own deck, a cinema salon and a full toy store
AFRICA I is a motor yacht arranged around the way guests spend their days aboard. Her interiors keep to cool tones, clean lines and soft textures, a restful setting after hours in the sun. The master suite spans the full width of the main deck and gives onto a deck reserved for its occupants, where they can watch the water in privacy. A second suite, of VIP standard, has a place of its own one level up. The main deck is designed for wheelchair access, so guests who use a wheelchair can move with ease through the social heart of the yacht.
As the light fades, the upper salon becomes a screening room. A cinema projector, comfortable chairs and a well-stocked full-service bar make a film after dinner feel like an occasion. Meals can be taken outside on more than one deck, in the shade at midday or beneath the night sky. Higher still, the sundeck offers sun loungers, gym gear and a Jacuzzi, so an early session and a sundowner can share the same view. Stabilisers keep her steady whether she lies at anchor or is under way, which guests notice most at the table and in their cabins.
Life on the water starts at a generous swim platform, with an inflatable dock parking station that keeps the toys moored and ready. Guests can choose Seadoo RXP RS waverunners, a Seabob for gliding below the surface, a Radin electric surfboard or an Awake board. For towed sports there are water skis, a wakeboard and wakesurf gear, and for quieter moments paddle boards, an inflatable sofa, inflatable tubes and snorkeling equipment. The RIBCO Venom chase tender handles quick transfers and stretches of coastline, and the Castoldi Beach ladder tender brings guests right up to the sand.
Behind all of this is a crew that understands charter and the guest's day. Their attentive service brings many clients back to her, and a full toy store is only as good as the people who launch it, instruct beginners and have everything ready before it is requested. AFRICA I cruises from Abu Dhabi and Dubai, and her other waters include Croatia, Montenegro, Turkey and Greece. Wherever a client chooses to join her, the rhythm stays the same: unhurried mornings, active afternoons and evenings that end in the upper salon or on deck beneath the stars.
