Alena is a power catamaran with softly rounded, asymmetric lines and the engines to match them. She covers distance briskly, so a passage between anchorages is done before lunch and the afternoon belongs to a quiet bay. Her catamaran form keeps her level at rest and under way, which means a glass set down stays where it is and moving about her decks takes no thought. She cruises in Greece, where that pace widens the choice of island and cove within a charter, and a guest can reach somewhere further off without losing the slow hours that make a day at sea worth having.
Most of her living happens outside. The aft cockpit opens directly into the saloon, so with the doors drawn back the space flows from table to sofa without a threshold to notice. Above, the flybridge gives room for sunbathing and a table for meals taken in the open, with the sea on every side. At the bow sits a lounge arranged around the Jacuzzi, sheltered enough for a late soak with a drink to hand. Indoors, the galley is set down a level, which keeps the saloon clear and full of light from its wide panoramic windows.
The owner's suite is the most spacious cabin aboard, with a dressing room of its own and a bathroom finished in the Italian style. The other cabins have queen beds, and every guest cabin has its own en-suite, so nobody shares a bathroom and each couple aboard enjoys the same privacy. Her crew run the yacht, the galley and the tender, leaving guests to choose the next bay and hand everything else over. Evenings can bring the BBQ on deck, board games or the TV in the saloon, and there is WiFi for anyone keeping in contact with home.
Her toys reward an active day. The Seabob draws swimmers through clear water, and the Highfield tender pulls the wakeboard and water ski while the surface is still glassy. Paddleboard and kayak suit a slow look along the shore of an anchorage, snorkeling equipment reveals what lies beneath, and floating noodles turn a swim into an idle hour. With all of it close at hand and a crew to set it up, Alena serves guests who want to be in the water from breakfast onwards as readily as those who would rather watch from the Jacuzzi.
