AMICI PER SEMPRE takes her name from the Italian for friends forever, and she is arranged around time spent together. An aluminium hull and clean Italian lines give her a quick, assured way through the water, so a long passage between anchorages takes little from the day. Inside, the saloon is modern and open, with comfortable places to gather and quieter cabins to retreat to. She was refitted and is maintained with evident care. Mechanical and cosmetic work continues from one charter to the next, and the finish shows it throughout.

Much of the day is lived outside. Electric awnings shade the flybridge whenever the sun grows strong, and an upgraded lounge with deep sofas makes it the natural place for long conversations. A bar sits close by for an aperitif as the light fades, while broad sunpads invite an hour or two stretched out with a book. There is further room to sit on the decks below, so guests can spread out or come together as the mood takes them, and nobody need feel crowded.

At the stern, a hydraulic swim platform lowers to the waterline, making it easy to slip in for a swim or climb onto a toy, and steadier for younger swimmers. From there guests can ride the Seabob, take out the Jobe Yarra paddleboard, try the wakeboard or the Jobe Allegre combo water skis, or be towed on the Jobe Droplet couch or the Jobe Lunar towable. The Jobe hemi training water skis help beginners find their feet, the Jobe inflatable platform makes a floating island off the stern, and snorkelling and fishing equipment are aboard for quieter hours.

She cruises in Turkey and Greece, and her pace suits an itinerary that strings together several anchorages without hurry. The Highfield tender carries guests to a beach or a harbour for lunch ashore, then back aboard when the water calls again. Her crew have worked alongside one another for years, and it shows in a service that is warm, attentive and quietly anticipates what is wanted.
