Apeiron Blue is a motor yacht built around the pleasure of moving quickly and stopping well. Her pace shortens the hops between anchorages, leaving more of each day for swimming, lunch in a sheltered cove and the long hour before dinner. Her crew, compact and attentive, handle the boat, the tender and the toys, so guests need only decide where to swim next. She has been refitted, and she cruises the islands and coasts of Greece, where short passages and a wide choice of bays suit her temperament.
Once the anchor is down, her toys come out. The Sea Bob draws a swimmer along just beneath the surface, the snorkel gear opens up the rocks and shallows, and the paddleboard is at its best in the stillness of early morning. The Highfield tender does the towing. Adult and children's water skis let younger guests take their turn alongside their parents. The wakeboard and the Jobe Towable Sofa bring laughter for anyone who would rather be pulled than steer. Afterwards, the deck shower clears away the salt.
Meals are taken outside whenever the weather allows. The BBQ turns a swimming stop into an easy lunch from the grill, and the ice maker and wine cooler see to the drinks from the first aperitif to the last glass. When the sun has gone, the salon offers its stereo for music and its TV/DVD for a film, while books and board games fill the slower hours. It is an informal, unhurried way to end a day spent mostly in the water, with the crew clearing away as the conversation carries on.
Her practical equipment lets her stay out rather than run for harbour. The generator and inverter keep lights, cooling and charging going at anchor, and Starlink Wifi alongside her onboard WIFI gives a steady connection to anyone who must answer a message from an isolated cove. Hair dryers are on hand for dressing before dinner ashore. Taken together, these let the choice of anchorage turn on shelter, scenery and where the swimming is best, rather than on the need to plug in at a quay.
