Sleek and low in the water, ELVI carries the sporting lines of a Posillipo and moves briskly when there is distance to cover. She has been refitted, and her interior is bright and contemporary, with a sense of room that runs from the saloon to the open decks. A guest might breakfast at anchor in a quiet bay and be swimming off another beach before lunch, or simply stay put through a long afternoon. In Greece, where she cruises, her pace and shallow draft let her tuck into bays close to the sand.
Her accommodation is planned around choice. The master cabin spans the full width of her main deck, which gives it a private, settled feel. The VIP cabins share a connecting door, so they can be used separately or joined into a larger suite, an arrangement that lets parents keep younger children within reach through the night. Further guest cabins complete the layout, each comfortably fitted for restful sleep. Inside, the refreshed saloon suits an evening of conversation as easily as a peaceful hour with a book.
Outside, open decks invite long hours in the sun, with shaded corners when the heat builds. At anchor the swim platform becomes a private beach club, the natural place to step into the water or set off on the toys. These include a Jet Ski Sea-Doo GTI, Seabob, Water ski (adult) and Water ski (kids), a wakeboard, SUP, tubes and a water sofa. Snorkelling and fishing equipment is kept aboard for quieter hours along the shoreline.
Her tender with outboard engine carries guests to small beaches and stretches of coast best reached by a smaller boat, while the yacht herself can lie close in thanks to her shallow draft. Her experienced crew look after the toys, the tender and the running of the yacht with an easy, unobtrusive manner, so guests need think only about where to swim next. It is a way of travelling that is both brisk and unhurried: fast passages when the day calls for them, long and leisurely stops when it does not.
