ESTIA POSEIDON, built by Falcon, is a motor yacht that likes to move. She runs between anchorages briskly, so a morning swim in one bay and lunch in another sit comfortably within the same day, and the passage itself becomes part of the pleasure rather than time to be endured. Her crew handle the anchoring, the tender and the table, which leaves guests free to choose how active or how idle each hour should be. Spacious decks and a well-stocked toy store give that choice real substance, whether the mood is for the water or for shade and a book.
Her swimming platform is where most days begin. From it guests reach the SeaDoo Jet-Ski and the Seabob for speed, the paddleboard for a slower look along the shore, and snorkelling equipment for the rocks and shallows close by. The Highfield SP Tender, driven by a Yamaha outboard, does the towing: a wake board, a kneeboard and a monoski for those who want a challenge, and the tube or the towable sofa for those who would rather laugh than balance. Because her water-skis are sized for children as well as adults, younger guests are part of the fun rather than spectators to it.
When the toys are rinsed and stowed, the sundeck and its sunpads take over, a generous place to dry off in the sun, while seating on the foredeck offers a quieter spot looking out over the bow. Inflatable beds and donuts, with a small inflatable sofa, stay out at anchor for anyone who prefers to float rather than ski. Ashore, the tender lands guests at the quay and the electrical scooter comes along, so a harbour town can be explored without a long walk. Her cruising area is Greece, where short hops between islands suit her pace well.
Evenings aboard are unhurried. Satellite TV, with a soundbar paired with a wireless rear surround system, makes an evening indoors easy, perhaps a film once dinner is cleared, and WiFi keeps guests in touch with home when they wish it and out of reach when they do not. The crew put away the day's equipment and lay the table, and the yacht that spent the afternoon towing skiers becomes a calm place to sit and talk late into the night.
