FOUR JOYS is a Maiora motor yacht, Italian in her lines and contemporary in her finish, and much of her character lies in how near she brings you to the water. Inside, the styling is clean and calm, and air conditioning keeps every room comfortable. Each of her cabins can be set up with a double bed, which suits couples sharing a charter, since nobody is left with the twin. A professional crew runs the yacht and looks after her guests, so each day takes whatever shape the party prefers.
The owner's suite takes the whole width of her main deck, with the sea visible on either side. His-and-hers bathrooms let two people get ready at their own pace without waiting on each other, a small comfort that counts for a great deal over a longer stay. It is a room to wake slowly in, with light coming off the water and plans for the day still undecided, before anyone thinks of heading up into the sun.
Life aboard leans outdoors, with generous room for meals in the open air, entertaining and simply lying in the sun. Hinged wings along her sides lower to form a terrace close to the surface, so that at anchor guests sit almost level with the sea. Her beach club makes slipping into the water effortless, while the bow lounge is the place for sunbathing with the horizon on every side. Her stabilisers stay at work under way and at anchor alike, keeping her settled whether she is moving between bays or resting in one.
The toy store is well stocked for active guests: a jet ski, a Seabob, a Jobe Aero Yarra inflatable SUP alongside a standard SUP board, water skis for adults, a Jobe Vanity wakeboard, and Jobe Hotseat and Binar towables. Equipment for fishing and snorkelling fills the quieter hours. A tender takes guests ashore, and mountain bikes travel with her for exploring once there. In Greece, where she cruises, that combination lends itself to quiet coves by day and an unhurried ride inland when the wind gets up.
