GRAYONE is a Sunreef catamaran whose hull is painted a deep charcoal grey, with a profile that sits long and low on the water. The breadth of a catamaran gives her a spaciousness few monohulls can match, and she puts it to good use: teak decks on separate levels, so someone after a quiet read in the shade need not disturb those gathering for a drink elsewhere. Inside, the interior is modern and composed, with navy tones, warm accents and finishes chosen with care, a setting that feels relaxed rather than formal.
Her cabins are arranged as doubles with a twin among them, which lets couples keep a room of their own while children share. Meals are taken outdoors in the cockpit at the stern, under cover from the sun. Up on the flybridge, beneath the bimini, the view opens in every direction. At the bow, a lounge with a wine cellar and bar becomes the natural place to end the day, glass in hand, as the anchorage grows quiet around her.
Much of the day is spent in the water, and the stern makes that easy: a wide platform lowers electro-hydraulically to sea level, so stepping in is effortless. The Seabob and the Flightscooter wait there for those who want speed beneath the surface or above it. There is also a wakeboard, a waterski and a tube to be towed on, an SUP for gentle paddling and snorkel gear for drifting over the shallows. Kids' water skis and an inflatable for kids let younger guests share in the fun, while a fishing rod suits a calmer spell. Her Castoldi jet tender makes short work of trips ashore.
Mornings can begin with yoga mats unrolled on deck, or with gym weights and the TRX bungee bands for something more strenuous. When the sun is at its height, guests might turn to the PS5, the karaoke system or board games, with a TV and stereo in the salon and WiFi for keeping in touch. Her professional crew run the yacht and look after the toys, so guests need only decide where to swim next. Among the Greek islands she cruises, that might mean a sheltered bay for lunch and an evening that stretches on under the awning.
