IDYLLE is a Benetti motor yacht whose layout rewards those who value their own space. The master cabin is on the main deck rather than among the other cabins, so its occupants enjoy a measure of privacy and little more than a doorway between waking and the open air. The remaining cabins give the rest of the party a quiet retreat of their own when the day winds down. Stabilizers work while she is under way, taking the edge off the motion between anchorages, which matters to anyone who prefers a gentle passage to a lively one.
Her exterior decks are spacious and made for long hours outside: breakfast in the shade, an afternoon with a book, drinks as the light fades over the water. The Jacuzzi offers a warm place to sit after a swim or late in the evening, once the anchorage has gone quiet. She cruises in Turkey and Greece, and in either the shape of a good day is much the same: a morning swim off the stern, an unhurried lunch at anchor, then a fresh bay to settle into before dark.
The water toys are where IDYLLE becomes playful. Jetskis and a Seabob bring speed and a glimpse beneath the surface, while waterskis, from a Jobe Hemi Trainer for first attempts to a Jobe Mode Combo and an HO Sports Freeride, sit beside a wakeboard for confident riders. The Jobe Lunar Sofa and Jobe Crusher Towable are towed behind for laughter rather than technique. For calmer water there are paddle boards, an inflatable Jobe Yarra SUP and an Aqua Marina Beast All-Around, a fishing rod, and snorkelling equipment for exploring the shallows. The Jobe Infinity Island floats off the stern as an extension of her swim platform, a wide place to lie in the sun.
Reaching the shore is straightforward. The Zodiac Medline New Line tender carries guests to a beach or a secluded cove, and the Sea-Doo jet ski offers a quicker, more spirited way across the bay. The crew can take seabeds, chairs and an umbrella ahead, so an afternoon on the sand is ready before you step off. Aboard, they attend to meals, cabins and the running of the yacht with care and discretion, leaving guests free to choose between activity and rest.
