Ipanemas is a Tecnomar motor yacht arranged over spacious decks, kept in fine condition and outfitted with care. Life aboard moves easily between sun and shade: the aft deck and the upper deck both give room outside to eat, talk or read, while the sundeck holds the Jacuzzi, the place most guests drift towards once the anchor is down. She has been refitted, and her crew run her so that the practical side of each day stays out of sight, leaving guests to decide only where to swim and when to eat.
The water is where she comes into her own. Guests can take out a Kawasaki or Yamaha VX Jet Ski, glide beneath the surface with the Scubajet Pro or the Yamaha Seawing Sea Scooter, or simply let the water slide deliver them into the sea. Banana rides and tubes suit those who like a little speed with their laughter; the kayak and SUP suit the quieter hours. Water skis come for adults and for children, which makes her a natural choice where younger guests want to learn, and there is gear for fishing and snorkelling besides.
Her tenders extend her reach: a Novurania with an inboard diesel for longer runs to the shore and to quieter beaches, and a Zodiac with a Yamaha outboard for slipping into shallower water. In Abu Dhabi and Dubai that means easy passage between the yacht and the shoreline, with calm water to return to when the day ashore is done. She also cruises in Greece, where the same tenders make light work of landings, and the crew can shape each day around the chosen anchorage.
Indoors, the tempo slows. A gym room lets guests keep a routine without going ashore, and the entertainment is thorough: flat-screen TVs with home cinema, an audio-visual system carrying satellite channels, and a broad library of music and films for evenings when nobody wishes to leave the yacht. It is a pairing that serves guests of different appetites well, the active out on the water with the toys, others content in the Jacuzzi or the shade, all of it looked after by a crew whose task is to anticipate rather than wait to be asked.
