Kimata is a sailing catamaran drawn with clean, modern lines. Her interior is bright and contemporary, with wide windows that keep the water in view from the saloon. Her twin hulls hold her steady at anchor as much as under sail, so a glass set down on a table tends to stay where it was put. What sets her apart is how much of her lies outdoors: a flybridge, a foredeck lounge, a forward cockpit with a Jacuzzi and an aft cockpit for meals, each of them distinct. Guests can spread out across the day without crowding one another.
Up on the flybridge, sunbeds and seating make a terrace raised above the water, a good place to watch the coastline go by or to lie in the sun after a swim. At the bow, the Jacuzzi lets guests soak while the boat sits quietly at anchor, and the lounge on the foredeck adds more room for reading or for doing nothing at all. The aft cockpit is where the table is laid for lunch and dinner, with the barbecue beside it. Conversation there tends to carry on late, with the sound system playing softly.
Below decks, the accommodation comprises an owner's suite and queen-bed cabins, every one with a private bathroom. This suits several couples travelling together, each with a room of comparable comfort and privacy. Her crew is a captain, a chef and a hostess. The chef cooks on board, the hostess looks after the cabins and the service at table, and the captain plans each day around the wind, picking the bays for swimming and the anchorage for the night. WiFi, a TV and a gym are aboard for anyone who needs them.
The water toys are many. The Jet Surf and Seabob give speed over and under the surface, while Snorkel Gear and a Paddleboard suit slower exploring along the rocks. There are Water Skis Adult and Water Skis Kids, so younger guests can ski too, alongside a Kneeboard, the Jobe Multi board and a Wakeboard. The Highfield tender pulls the Tube, the Banana and the Jobe Binar Towable, with a Fishing rod for a calmer hour. Across the Aegean and through the Cyclades, the days can follow their own rhythm: a sail in the morning, a swim, a walk ashore and a quiet bay by evening.
