MELI is a Ferretti whose interior was refitted to a contemporary, custom design, and she makes more of her space than her lines suggest. Made-to-measure furniture and wide glazing keep the main salon bright through the day. This is where the party gathers: a long meal at the table, an unhurried hour of conversation, and after dark a film on the AV system. The mood is modern and uncluttered rather than formal. It is a room to return to after a morning in the water, and one that lets everyone aboard feel at ease from the start.
Her cabins are laid out with thought for how people share a yacht. The master suite spans her full width, giving its occupants a sense of room and quiet. A VIP cabin at main-deck level sits apart from the other cabins and suits anyone who prefers not to take the stairs, or who simply values a little distance. The remaining cabins are appointed with equal care. Water skis made for children sit alongside a monoski and skis for adults, so she is as well prepared for younger guests as for practised skiers.
Outside, the flybridge draws people up. The Jacuzzi looks out over open views, and there is space to stretch out in the sun. Further aft, the beach club brings guests down to sea level for a swim off the stern or a quiet spell with their feet in the water. Her shallow draft lets her slip into small bays and drop anchor nearer the beach, and in Greece, where she cruises, that opens up coves others pass by. Her zero-speed stabilizers hold her settled whether she is lying at anchor or making passage.
The toys give each day its own shape. A Seabob, Onean Carver electric jetboards and a SCUBAJET underwater scooter suit the adventurous, while SUP, snorkelling equipment and fishing equipment offer something gentler. Water skiing, a wakeboard, tubes and an inflatable sofa fill the afternoons, and a Zodiac tender carries everyone ashore. Behind all of this is a crew who have worked side by side for years. That familiarity shows in service that is attentive without hovering, and in an atmosphere that feels relaxed from the moment guests step aboard.
