NINO is an Italian motor yacht from Cantieri Di Pisa, a rare model and one built for guests who would sooner have privacy and ease than display. She has been refitted throughout and her layout reworked, and everything about her points towards a slow, well-ordered life afloat: a quiet cabin, a long table in the open air, the sea a few steps from the stern. She cruises the Aegean and the Ionian in Greece, where each day can follow the wind and the mood aboard rather than any fixed plan.
The principal suite runs the full width of the hull at the stern of her lower level. Its open-plan office lets whoever leads the party work undisturbed, with an en-suite bathroom close at hand. Further forward lie VIP doubles, each with a bathroom of its own. The twin cabins also have their own bathrooms, and each adds a Pullman berth. One sits on the main deck and one below, which is useful where younger guests or friends are sharing. Large windows fill the saloon with daylight, and the finish is soft and modern, warm rather than formal.
Much of life aboard happens outside. The sundeck is a place for unhurried afternoons in the sun and a drink as evening comes on. The aft deck gathers everyone for long lunches and dinners eaten while the view slowly changes. From the broad swim platform it is a short step into the water or onto the toys. Stabilisers keep her steady both at anchor and on passage, so a meal at table or a night's sleep in a quiet bay stays settled and comfortable.
For the water, NINO carries a Seabob, the Kawasaki STX wave runner, water skis, a wakeboard and towable toys. There are also paddle boards and stand up paddles, a canoe and fishing gear, while the Williams sport jet runs guests ashore. Her crew are professional, discreet and attentive, present when wanted and unobtrusive otherwise. The chef plans menus around what each guest likes to eat, so meals become part of the rhythm of the day rather than an interruption to it.
