Selene is a Lagoon sailing catamaran whose broad, level decks make life aboard easy, whether at anchor or under way. She was refitted and has been upgraded steadily since, and she is kept in fine order by a crew who handle the navigation and the galley alike. Her cruising grounds are the Cyclades, then the Dodecanese, then the Ionian, all in Greek waters. Whichever a guest chooses, the rhythm is much the same: a quiet bay for swimming by day, and an anchorage picked with care for the night.
Outdoor living shapes her days. A hardtop bimini covers the aft deck, giving shade for meals at the table and room to linger once the evening comes. Up on the flybridge there is open space to lie in the sun, talk, or follow the coast as it slips by. Her stern is the clever part. A hydraulic platform lowers the Highfield tender to the water, then rests at sea level as a deck of its own, where guests step straight in to swim or sit with a drink beside the sea.
The toy list rewards active guests. The Seabob pulls a swimmer along under the surface, while the tender tows the tube, the kneeboard, the wakeboard and the water ski whenever the bay lies flat. For calmer hours there are a paddleboard and a kayak to trace the shore, snorkeling equipment for the clear water beneath each anchorage, and a fishing rod for a line cast over the side. As the day winds down, the BBQ is lit and dinner is served out on deck.
Each cabin has an en suite bathroom, so every guest has a private retreat after salt and sun, and no one shares a bathroom. WiFi, a TV and a sound system suit quiet nights as well as livelier ones, and a gym keeps a morning routine going. Above all, it is her crew who set the pace. They navigate with assurance, cook with care and look after guests attentively, leaving only the choice of where to swim and where to anchor next.
