Serenissima is a sailing catamaran for people who like the boat itself to be part of the journey. Under sail she moves with the steadiness of a catamaran, and at anchor she settles broad and level, so a swim, a meal or an afternoon with a book never feels like a compromise. Her chef, hostess and captain shape the day around her guests: when to weigh anchor, where to stop, what comes to the table. It is a way of travelling that keeps the sea close and the effort elsewhere, and in the Aegean, where she cruises in Greece, it lets each island arrive in its own time.
Life aboard happens mostly on deck. The flybridge is the place to lie in the sun, take in the horizon from the highest point aboard, or gather as the light softens in the evening. Forward there is further seating, open to the breeze and close to the water, a natural spot for quiet hours once she is at anchor. The aft cockpit is shaded and arranged for eating outdoors, with the BBQ within reach and a deck shower for rinsing off after a swim, so lunch can follow the sea without anyone needing to go indoors.
Inside, she is contemporary in style and full of light, with a saloon ready for evenings in: a TV and stereo, iPod/Device Hookups, WiFi, a printer for anyone who must work, a Nebula projector for films and a Nintendo switch for younger guests. Guests sleep in an owner's suite and in queen-bedded cabins, every one with a private bathroom. For those who keep a routine on holiday there are a foam roller, weights and yoga mats, and hairdryers are to hand before an evening ashore.
Her toys cover both energy and calm. For pace there are Sea Wings, a Seabob and Sea Scooters, with water skis for adults and for children, a monoski and a kids' monoski, a wakeboard, and an Inflatable Sofa, an inflatable donut and a tube, pulled along by the Lomac tender. Slower hours belong to the kayak, the SUP and the snorkelling gear. Anglers will find a trawling rod, a spinning rod and a spearfishing rod, and Xiaomi Scooters are kept aboard for getting about on land.
