TiAmo is an Aquila power catamaran built to cover water briskly and then settle. Her twin hulls give her a multihull's poise at anchor, so lunch on deck stays steady and a glass set down stays put, while her motor-yacht pace shortens the passage from one anchorage to the next. Inside and out run into one another: the saloon opens to the aft cockpit, and from there it is a few steps up to the flybridge or down to the swim platform. The result is a yacht that feels open and sociable rather than a sequence of closed rooms.
The master suite stretches across her full beam, with a king-size bed and a television of its own. The remaining cabins each have a queen bed, and every one has a private en-suite with hair dryers to hand. Light comes in freely, finishes are modern and the palette is soft, which makes the cabins quiet places to retreat to after a long lunch or a late swim. Because every cabin is a double with its own bathroom, she sits easily with couples sharing a charter, each with comparable comfort and privacy below.
Days are spent outdoors. The aft cockpit is laid for meals in the open, with the BBQ close by, while the flybridge offers cushioned seating, sunbathing room and a broad outlook as evening comes on. Shade comes from the bimini and a sun awning when it is wanted. The swim platform puts the sea a step away, and the deck shower waits on the way back. For the energetic there is a wakeboard, water ski, tube and towable donut behind the Brig tender; for quieter hours, paddleboard, kayak, snorkeling gear, sea scooter, Sea wings Jobe and noodles.
Her all-female crew are known for being warm, professional and exacting about the details. They plan each day with the guests rather than for them, choosing an anchorage for swimming or a harbour for the evening according to the wind and the mood aboard. Their presentation and hospitality have earned recognition in a charter industry competition. Among the Greek islands where she cruises, evenings bring music through the Bluetooth system, television in the saloon, WiFi, and UNO, backgammon or cards for anyone who fancies a game on deck.
