WOMBAT is a Sanlorenzo motor yacht whose broad hull lends her rooms an unusual sense of air. The finest of them is the owner's suite, set forward on the main deck, where windows curve around the bow so that the view ahead fills the room. A private office sits alongside, and a dressing area keeps the suite calm and uncluttered. The other guest cabins are each arranged for quiet and privacy, so the day can be shared on deck and the evening kept to oneself.
In the main salon, a hydraulic section of the hull folds down to form a balcony just above the water, letting the sea breeze and the light off the surface into the room. Higher up, the sundeck is given over to slow hours: loungers in the open, a wet bar for cold drinks, and a dining table beneath an electric hardtop, with sun and shade both close at hand. Stabilisers work at anchor as well as underway, which keeps lunch settled in a swell and longer passages comfortable, and Starlink holds a connection wherever she goes.
Aft, the swim platform lowers hydraulically to make a beach club at sea level, and from here the day tends to run itself. An Efoil and a Fliteboard offer gliding above the surface, a Seabob pulls swimmers along beneath it, and the Sea-Doo RXT-X brings speed. Skis for adults and children, a monoski and a wakeskate cover towed sports; tubes and an inflatable trampoline suit anyone in a playful mood. For calmer moments there are an inflatable kayak, an inflatable SUP and snorkelling equipment. The Williams tender handles trips ashore.
Her crew look after the whole of a stay: meals, the water sports and the shape of each day's cruising, with an eye to where the next swim or quiet anchorage might be. Children's skis and the gentler toys mean younger guests have as much to do as the keenest riders, while the owner's office lets work stay in a corner of the suite rather than spill onto the deck. In Greece, where she cruises, the pace is set by her guests rather than by a timetable.
