JO I is a motor yacht that gives her guests a great deal to choose between, and the room in which to choose it. Inside she is finished in warm, modern tones, calm rather than showy, and outside her decks unfold into shaded lounges, tables for eating in the open air and wide views on every side. She was refitted, and she carries stabilisers and air conditioning throughout, so the hours between anchorages pass quietly, with a book or a doze in the shade.
Her principal suites are set well apart. The master suite lies on the main deck, while the VIP suite, generously sized, sits a level higher on the upper deck, so a party made up of separate households, or of grandparents, parents and children, can each keep a private corner of the yacht. The other cabins share the same warm finish. Her crew look after the table and the shape of each day, planning the itinerary around how guests wish to spend their time and serving meals wherever on board they prefer.
The sundeck is where the day tends to gather: a bar, a Jacuzzi, broad sunpads and shaded corners for anyone who has had enough of the heat. It serves a long, lazy afternoon as well as it serves drinks once the light has gone. When evening comes, the upper deck becomes a small cinema, with a projector for films and a classic-style jukebox for the music before and after. Those who like to train will find a fitness centre fitted out as a proper gym.
Lower down, the water takes over. A beach club is laid out with sun beds, chairs and umbrellas, Bluetooth speakers playing, and from it guests reach the FunAir waterslide, Yamaha FX Cruiser and VX Cruiser jet skis, Seabob, Takuma and Lift e-foils, a Flyboard, wing foil and wake foil board, kayaks, paddleboards, skis, O'Brien and CWB wakeboards and a full set of towables, with gear for diving, snorkelling and fishing besides. A Williams jet tender and a ZAR tender carry guests ashore. She cruises Abu Dhabi and Dubai, Albania, Croatia, Montenegro and Turkey, and Greece.
