OURANOS: light-filled salons, a glass elevator and a beach club at water level
OURANOS is an Admiral motor yacht shaped by restraint. Her interiors, by Gianmarco Campanino, keep to calm tones and clean lines. In both the main and upper salons the windows run from floor to ceiling, so the sea stays in view whether you are reading after lunch or gathering before dinner. Each salon spans the full width of the yacht, leaving room for conversation without crowding. A generous master suite and VIP cabins are finished in the same quiet manner, with discreet modern technology close to hand.
A glass elevator rises through all her interior decks, and guests come aboard over a wheelchair-accessible gangway. That makes her an easy choice where someone in the party moves less freely, since every salon and cabin deck can be reached without a stair. Her crew are experienced and charter-minded, and her chefs have cooked together for a long time, which shows in service that runs smoothly from breakfast to a late supper. An iPad-controlled entertainment system brings music, films from a DVD library and satellite channels to the cabins, the salons and the sundeck.
Her spacious beach club sits close to the water and serves as a wellness room as much as a launch point. It holds a Peloton bike, a Technogym treadmill, pilates accessories and a bench with weights in every size, alongside a massage corner and a plunge pool fitted with Jacuzzi-style jets. From the sea platforms, guests can take out Seabobs with video recording, the Electric Jetsurf with its beginners' tube, an Awake Vinga Flex Battery XR, a Tiwal sailing dinghy, kayaks and stand up paddle boards, or ride jet skis from Kawasaki and Yamaha.
Younger guests have the Yachtbeach Luxury Pool, a waterslide, the Jungle Gym and its slide, and inflatable towables from doughnuts to a banana sofa, with waterskis, a wakeboard and a kneeboard for those who prefer to stand. Ashore, a Specialized Turbo Levo SL Electric Mountain Bike opens up trails beyond the harbour. Three tenders, the Technohull EXPLORER RIB, the Gastoldi Jet and a RIB Zodiac, carry the party to beaches and lunches along the coast, whether she is cruising off Abu Dhabi and Dubai or in Albania, Croatia, Montenegro, Slovenia and Turkey.
