Rose d'Or is laid out so that guests can find company or quiet as the hour suggests. Her interiors are restrained and calm, the cabins finished in soft, settled tones. A lift runs between every level, so the whole yacht is as easy to move through for an older guest as for anyone else aboard. The accommodation pairs double cabins with a twin, a layout that sits well with parents travelling with children or with companions who would rather not share a bed.
The owner's deck stands on its own. Its master suite spans the full beam, with views across the water on either side, and forward lies a Jacuzzi kept for whoever sleeps there. It is the natural choice for a couple who want mornings and evenings to themselves while the rest of the party settles on the decks below. Elsewhere the wellness spaces keep the same unhurried spirit: a sauna, a gym with an exercise bike and treadmill, and Jacuzzis besides the owner's own.
At anchor the pace changes. The Spinera Aqua Park is set out on the water beside her, its pool and slide tower giving younger guests an afternoon's occupation, while those after more speed can take out the Sea-Doo Jet Skis, ride the Seabobs beneath the surface, or try the Flyboard and the Water Jet Pack. The Fliteboard eFoil offers a quieter thrill, gliding above the water on its foil, and the SUPs, the Banana Multi-Rider and the Jobe Towable cover everything in between.
The Opus tender, custom built, carries guests ashore, where GoCycle electric bikes and electric scooters, the Kaabo Mantis, open up a town quay or a coast road with no need for a car. Her crew are professional and discreet, attentive without intruding. She cruises the coasts of Croatia, France, Italy, Montenegro and Slovenia, with Greece among her waters too. Whichever of them you choose, the days take their shape from you: where to anchor, when to swim, how long to linger at the table.
