Tecnomar built THIS IS IT as a motor catamaran whose shape owes more to architecture than to convention. Her lines are asymmetric and flowing, and her superstructure is wrapped in sweeping glass, so daylight reaches deep inside and the water stays in sight from the saloon, the cabins and the decks alike. The wide stance of her twin hulls gives her an unusual sense of volume, and that space is used generously, with rooms that open outward rather than closing in. She is a striking yacht to arrive on, and a calm one to live aboard.
Life on the main deck turns on a single open sweep. Tall glass doors fold the saloon into the outdoor lounge, where the bar, a corner for games, the pool and a table laid for formal dining share one easy space. Seating and loungers are arranged to look out over the sea, and shade and sun are never more than a few steps apart. The galley sits behind polarised glass, so the cooking itself becomes part of the evening. It is a layout that keeps people in each other's company while leaving everyone room to drift.
Every cabin has its own bathroom and a ceiling height rarely found at sea. The owner's suite is a private world, lit from above by a skylight, opening onto a panoramic terrace and threaded with a vertical garden that climbs between levels. On the upper deck the spa holds a treatment room, a sauna and a sensorial shower, and beside it a playroom can serve as a further guest cabin when the party calls for it. Leather, Alcantara, oak and teak meet beige and platinum tones, touched here and there with gold, bronze and titanium.
Her cruising areas are Abu Dhabi and Dubai, and she also travels to Albania, Croatia, France, Italy, Malta, Montenegro, Portugal, Slovenia and Spain, as well as Greece. Wherever she is, the day takes its shape from her decks: a swim from the pool or straight into the sea, an hour in the spa, a long dinner outside as the light goes. Her crew attend to the running of the yacht and to the small things, leaving guests free simply to enjoy the space she offers.
